Biography
Since 2015, Marie-France Gilbert has offered her services as a composer, sound designer and arranger for film producers, show organizers, advertising companies, video game companies as well as other stakeholders in the international artistic field through its website, its YouTube channel and streaming platforms. Marie-France owns the artist name MOSIK.
Marie-France began her studies of classical piano music in 2009 and then began a bachelor's degree in composition at Laval University under the tutelage of Professor Éric Morin in 2012. She began her master's degree in composition with dissertation in 2015 to graduate in 2018. Her dissertation has the research subject “The influence of exotic music in three of my recent compositions” where she is interested in non-Western music of origin.
She completed her second master's degree in 2019 at the University of Quebec in Montreal for the DESS program in film music.
